Interior: The interior of this genuine leather backpack is composed of a soft, pliable material. There are two pouch pockets at the front end of the backpack that are trimmed with leather, making for a sturdier pocket. These two pouches are attached to the front of an additional zipper pocket. This shallow yet accommodating pocket is best for writing utensils but can be used for any miscellaneous items you don't want jumbling around in your backpack. Across from these pouches and pocket is our padded laptop sleeve that secures your computer at the opening with an elastic band and velcro. The laptop sleeve is slightly padded. Although it provides substantial protection for your computer, I still wouldn't recommend throwing around your bag while computer is inside (it happens). Aside from all this storage space you have an open compartment that has the capacity to fit a half schedule of books and then some. Not only intended for school, this backpack is a perfect and appropriate replacement for any briefcase at the workplace. A professional aesthetics with the casual feel of a backpack. External: With all of the components of this backpack protected by its leather over-flap you can rest assured that the contents of your bag stay dry and protected. Directly under the over-flap attached to the front of the main compartment is an additional medium sized zipper pouch. Roughly about half the size of the main compartment, this pouch can be used for smaller sized books, tablets, wallets, and just about any personal articles you'd like to keep close. The over-flap fastens down to the body of the bag with two magnetic snap buttons and leather straps. The leather straps on the over flap are then thread through small leather loops attached to the front of the backpack with bronze rivets. The entire backpack is accented and sewn together with the same orange thread that compliments the dark finish of the leather so well. Don't hesitate to take this backpack from the lecture or office to the outdoors, I assure, it can handle it.  A simple and effective design, that will simplify and organize your life. 

Straps: Shoulder straps composed not only of leather but canvas. Making for a strong, but still comfortable  carrying experience. There is also a leather loop at the top of the backpack for hanging on hooks or to fashionably carry.
